He grinned, "Sorry, can't help it." he winked down at me. And gave me a peck on the forehead.
The door opened then, "Bella? Hey! Long time, no see!" Charlie rushed out to yank me out from under Edward's arm to give me a bear-hug.
"Hello, Officer Swan." Edward reminded my dad of his exsistance.
"Oh, hello Edward." CHarlie actually grinned at him. I guess almost three weeks of not seeing me had soften him up. "Come in, you two, come in!"

Edward and I were sitting on the couch while Esme and Rosalie consoled me with sympathetic words and the others rambled on about a hunting trip they were about to take. The guys started taking bets on the gender, and the many ways my baby might be an oddity. Alice wouldn't release a single fact about it, saying we'd have to wait to see like any other couple, though she giggled hysterically every time she was asked. He had to stop when I vomitted once again, this time on the newly arrived Emmett.
But what happened next was the straingest of anything yet...A high bell-like musical chiming echoed all through Carlisle's office. I looked up to see Rosalie doubled over in laughter, pointing at Emmett's yellow splattered chest. Alice and Jasper soon appeared behind them, also chuckling under their breath.
